Sixteen Mile House: A Culinary Gem in Millbrae

Huge props to the chef, it is incredibly difficult to nail fried chicken but there's was perfectly cooked. Perfectly crispy and still juicy. Staff were great and attentive. Highly recommend.

1st time experience on a Friday around 12pm. I wanted to see the brunch/dinner menu. Food is delicious and hearty. I ate me a ribeye with creamed spinach and garlic mash. My companion ate house steak with garlic mash with creamed corn. Definitely up there in price. But a great experience!

By far some of the BEST wait staff my wife and I have experienced in a long time. Food was excellent and the meat is exactly how you order it to the T. Looking forward to going back.

Moved to the area last summer and came across this place. I have been here 3 times since, and every time food is consistent and service is amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back for the great food, drinks and service. 10/10

Great food!! Staff is nice!! Our party had caesar salad, clam chowder, oysters, pork chops, chicken breast with mushroom sauce, fried chicken, and grilled salmon! All dishes were great!!

I'm normally a vegetarian, but I do have Pernious Anemia and I've not been getting my B12 shots. I found myself craving a steak of all things so when my birthday rolled around I wanted a steak. I will say I was a bit dismayed by the prices being that the atmosphere is a bit funky. You walk through this dive sort of dive bar to get to your table, like I said, atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired and when most people go to dinner, the "feel" of the place is important but the steak was great! The sides were okay and I ordered apple pie ala mode for dessert, that was not good at all. My craving for steak was definitely satisfied but I probably won't go back. Paying $82 for a steak I think there should be more pleasing surroundings.

Came out for some dinner with the family everything was as good as can be. From the warmth and hospitality of being welcomed in and showed to our table. To our waiter explaining daily specials and recommendations. We started out with their complimentary bread and butter bread came out nice and warm that's always a good start. We looked over the menu and a few dishes caught our eye. We ended up going for the beef stroganoff and Kobe Burger. The beef stroganoff was lit of this world tasty the strips of filet mignon were a perfect cook medium. Kobe Burger was ordered medium rare and that was really tasty as well. We finished off with some homemade creme brulee and a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. When in the area I will definitely come back to patronize this wonderful local establishment. Keep up the great work.

It is the best place to enjoy many kinds of steaks and the taste of calamary and salad are fantastic with reasonable price level.
